CHARACTERISTICS
• Grade: 16 % Vol.
• Variety: Old prefiloxeric vines of Monastrell
VINEYARD
• Description: Strains over 80 years old with low yields 250 grams/strain
• Climate: Extreme, with very cold winters and hot summers
DEVELOPMENT
• Harvest: Manual in boxes of 10-15 kilos
• Vinification: Small stainless steel 1.000 l tanks at 24ºC Macerated for 21 days
• Ageing: Malolactic before being aged in new French Allier barrels of 225 liters for 20 months
TASTING
• Appearance: Dark red. Clean and bright
• Nose: Enhanced spicy and fruity notes perfectly blended, with overtones of licorice and chocolate Mouth. Rich and fruity on the palate with light undertones of toast and chocolate. Full-bodied, strong and long-tasting
• Mouth: Smooth and velvety on the palate
• Serving temperature: 16-18 ºC.
