Demuerte Cava, for the most sophisticated desires

Demuerte Cava, para los deseos más sofisticados

DEMUERTE Cava is our latest creation — a wine for the most refined palates, offering a complexity of utmost elegance and, to date, our most intriguing product.

DEMUERTE Cava, for the most sophisticated desires

A new wine has just been unveiled. A creation that enriches our already extensive DEMUERTE range, and one that we are confident will surprise you.

This is DEMUERTE Cava, a sparkling wine born from the fusion of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Macabeo grapes sourced from an organic vineyard. A vineyard nurtured by the Mediterranean climate, where limestone soils enhance the freshness of the grapes, imparting them with a distinctive flavour. These grapes are hand-harvested to preserve their purity, and subsequently undergo traditional ageing on lees — a process that imparts fine bubbles and great elegance to the resulting wine.

The character of DEMUERTE Cava

DEMUERTE Cava is a pale golden wine with fine, clean, and brilliant bubbles.
On the nose, it bursts with floral aromas, interwoven with citrus and tropical notes and a subtle hint of toasted brioche.
On the palate, DEMUERTE Cava delivers both freshness and creaminess in perfect harmony.
The fine bubbles from the organically grown Chardonnay and Macabeo grapes caress the palate, unfolding a complex elegance that culminates in a long, refined finish — qualities rarely found in a Cava.
The wine has an alcohol content of 11.5%.
It is best served chilled, between 6 and 8°C.

A visual innovation as well

Unlike the other wines in the DEMUERTE range, the bottle of DEMUERTE Cava is not black. Instead, it follows the traditional Cava aesthetic — a Champenoise bottle, the same style used for Champagne. These thick-walled glass bottles are specially designed to withstand the pressure of the carbon dioxide produced during the second fermentation of sparkling wines.

On its front, the iconic symbol of the DEMUERTE saga remains: a skull. However, unlike the previous designs inspired by the Mexican Day of the Dead, this one presents a three-dimensional golden skull — a clear nod to the contents within — adorned with intertwined black and gold leaves and flowers.

This combination of elements highlights the elegance and distinction that define our Cava.

As always with our wines, the design is set against a black background that enhances the central motif of the label and visually connects this wine with its siblings in the DEMUERTE family.

DEMUERTE Cava, the saga continues

With the addition of DEMUERTE Cava, the DEMUERTE wine collection expands, continuing our mission to meet the varied preferences of our followers and wine lovers with high-quality offerings.

To date, the DEMUERTE collection comprises eight wines (including the Cava), offering a broad spectrum of flavours and styles. While the majority are red wines (no fewer than five), we also feature a white (DEMUERTE WHITE) and a rosé (DEMUERTE ROSÉ).

All our wines are crafted with care and attention to detail, using hand-picked grapes from old vines rooted in Mediterranean soils — specifically within the Yecla Denomination of Origin. The predominant grape variety is Monastrell, although we incorporate other varieties to create new flavour profiles.

With all of this, we’ve built DEMUERTE — a collection where each wine is a unique coupage, expressed visually through skulls in all their colourful and textural facets. Wines with powerful, magical, structured personalities — rich, fruit-forward, and laced with mysterious notes that gradually reveal themselves, unveiling a delightful complexity.

So, if you’re a wine enthusiast and have yet to try them, we invite you to do so.
You’re in for a surprise.
